
Refund and Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all paid quizzes and events hosted by Quiz Village. By registering for a paid event, you agree to the terms below.
1. General Policy
Entry fees paid for Quiz Village events are generally non-refundable and non-transferable once registration is confirmed, except in the specific circumstances described in this policy.
2. Cancellation by Us
If we cancel an event for any reason, all registered participants will receive a full refund of the entry fee paid. Refunds will be initiated automatically — you do not need to raise a request.
3. Rescheduling or Changes by Us
If we change the date, time, or platform of an event, your registration will automatically remain valid for the rescheduled event. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you may request a full refund by writing to us before the rescheduled event begins.
4. Cancellation by the Participant
If you cancel your registration by writing to us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of the event, you will be eligible for a full refund of the entry fee. Cancellation requests received less than 48 hours before the event, or after the event has started, will not be eligible for a refund.
5. Duplicate or Failed Payments

Duplicate payments: If you are charged more than once for the same registration, the excess amount will be refunded in full once verified.

Failed payments: If your payment fails but the amount is debited from your account, the amount is typically reversed automatically by your bank or Razorpay within 5–7 business days. If it is not, please contact us with your transaction details and we will assist in resolving it.
6. No-Shows and Technical Issues

No refund will be provided if a participant fails to join or complete the quiz due to reasons on their side, including internet connectivity problems, device issues, entering incorrect details at registration, or missing the event.

No refund will be provided for disqualification due to violation of our Terms and Conditions, including the use of unfair means or disruptive behaviour.

If a widespread technical failure on our side or on the quiz hosting platform prevents the event from being conducted fairly, we will, at our discretion, either reschedule the event (with registrations carried over) or refund the entry fee to affected participants.
7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of registration, through Razorpay.

Refunds are typically initiated within 2–3 business days of approval and may take 5–7 business days thereafter to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

We are unable to process refunds in cash or to a different account or payment method.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at the address below with your registered name, email address, registration code, and payment details (payment ID or transaction reference). We will review your request and respond within a reasonable time.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your registration will apply to that registration.
